CancerPartnersUK IGRT centre opened by Sir Ranulph Fiennes

On Tuesday, 13th October, the new CancerPartnersUK Image Guided Radiotherapy Centre was officially opened by explorer and adventurer Sir Ranulph Fiennes Bt OBE. This is the first independent unit of its type outside London to provide access to the latest generation radiotherapy treatments IMRT and IGRT – recognised as one of the most effective forms of radiation therapy for cancer, these treatments are shown to improve outcomes and minimize side effects to cancer patients.
